Message and Implication of National Rejection of Elections

On Saturday 28th September 2019, a process termed “presidential elections” was held by the stooge Kabul administration for which months preparations and propaganda had taken place. Voting only took place in cities where the Kabul administration exercised a semblance of control whereas no voting was held in eighty percent of Afghanistan comprising rural areas and villages where most of the population resides because those areas are under the control of Islamic Emirate.

Of the remaining twenty percent of the country, hundreds of polling stations were closed due to a variety of reasons including but not limited to logistics difficulties, technical issues, complexity of process and lack of worker know how. However, the main factor that truly exposed the fraud and invalidity of this process was the absolute rejection and boycott by the nation.

Media, journalists and observer groups are all in agreement that these elections were the most questionable and unprecedented in terms of low voter turnout when compared to those held over the past eighteen years. Images and videos published during election day showed that most polling stations were either empty or occupied by people representing the candidates or working as observers. The historically low voter turnout and lack of participation forced the custodians of imposed democracy to stuff ballot boxes with fake votes.

The rejection of these elections by the Afghan nation was a heavy slap on the faces of all those sides trying to force foreign prescriptions and processes of the occupiers upon our believing people through the means of money, force and deception. This absolute national rejection carries a message to the invaders that they are dealing with a vigilant, astute and determined nation. A nation that is only obedient to its principles and values and cannot be played by anyone for self-interests.

The absolute national rejection also showed the stooges that this nation is fed up with their servile actions and shall not recognize processes that prolong the occupation. The nation is of the belief that voting under the shadow of an invasion is meaningless because final decisions will still rest with those who pay the expenses these processes as they have reserved the right of decision-making with themselves.

The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan – just as it thanked its believing and resolute nation through an official statement – feels a sense of pride in the political shrewdness of its people and considers it a sign of definitive failure of the invaders and domestic traitors. It also calls upon the invaders to cease efforts of deceiving this nation because all your misleading efforts have proven themselves futile over the past eighteen years and you must not hold onto any false hope for a different outcome in the future.
