BAGHLAN, Sep. 5 – An unknown number of the enemy military personnel sustained casualties when Mujahideen dismantled a military post in Poli Khomri district of northern Baghlan province, while the highway between Baghlan and Kabul remains partly blocked off.
In another report, Mujahideen thwarted the enemy offensives repeatedly elsewhere in the said district, inflicting casualties on a number of the enemy soldiers and destroying 6 tanks, while Mujahideen seized arms and ammo from the enemy.
On Wednesday, Mujahideen set fire to a vehicle carrying Arbakis in which 2 Arbakis were severely injured in Khinjan district of Baghlan province.
Early Wednesday, Mujahideen seized enemy military units in Baghlan-e-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province, killing 4 puppets and capturing 6 more, whereas 6 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 PK heavy machine gun, 1 RPG rocket and ammo were taken from the enemy.
The area came under heavy airstrikes during the operation but none suffered losses.
On Thursday, Mujahideen took over 6 military units from the enemy in Tala Barfak district of Baghlan province, killing 10 enemy soldiers and seizing from the enemy 5 vehicles including 2 tanks, 15 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 DShK (heavy antitank machine guns) and ammo, while Mujahideen dismantled almost all the checkpoints from Baghlan-e-Markazi district of northern Baghlan province to the Aliabad district of Kunduz province last night.
