KUNDUZ, Oct. 22 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate seized control of a military base in Aliabad district of northern Kunduz province when they raided it and exchanged fire with the enemy last night.
As many as 20 Arbakis were killed in the ensuing firefight in yesterday night’s operation.
Three Arbaki commanders, Amir Mohammad, Sharbat Khan and Arbab Khushhal were among those killed in the operation.
Similarly, Mujahideen destroyed 2 of the enemy tanks and 1 motorbike while capturing from the enemy a great deal of arms and ammunition of various kinds.
This comes as the interior minister of Kabul administration claimed they had foiled Operation Al-Fath.
