Enemy advance pushed back in country’s north

BAGHLAN, Oct.19 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate thwarted the enemy offensive in Pol-e-Khomri district of northern Baghlan province with a series of attacks while fighting off them vigorously.

The enemy was forced to retreat with heavy losses.

Separately, the enemy abducted a tribal from his houses during a nighttime raid in the said district last night.

Early Friday, a roadside bomb blast ripped into the enemy tank in Pol-e-Khomri district of Baghlan province, leaving all those aboard it dead and wounded.

On Saturday, the enemy came under attacks in the aforesaid district but it is unclear how many have been killed or wounded.
