During this month, the last round of peace talks was at its final and concluding stages, as it was abruptly closed without any outcome. In the military fields, several districts were liberated and controlled by Mujahidin. The bogus presidential elections were also held in this month, which remained weak and faint as majority of our pious and freedom loving people showed no interest in it. Peace Talks:

On Sunday 1st September, ninth round of peace talks was concluded between the negotiating team of the Islamic Emirate and the American side and the final draft was given to both sides for a final review, but on the night between 7th and 8th September, abruptly the whole peace process was closed down by the American president Donald Trump, by making a lame excuse of recent Mujahidin attack on ‘Green Village’ in Kabul and the killing of their forces.

Subsequently, the American government officials at different levels talked about increasing their attacks and insisted on the continuation of the ongoing futile war inside Afghanistan.

The Islamic Emirate, on its turn, reminded them to reconsider their mistakes and invasion of our freedom homeland for the last two decades, and to learn a lesson from the previous invaders, as the holy Jihad will remain incessant unless and until the last foreign soldier is withdrawn from Afghanistan. The Islamic Emirate added that doors for peace talks will always remain open on their behalf.

Fake Elections:

On Saturday 28th September, bogus elections were conducted in the country, for which only nine million people were registered out of the whole population of thirty five millions. According to reports of the very first day of these elections, only one and a half million people had casted their votes, as two days later this figure was increased to three million. With the exception of Ashraf Ghani, all other candidates called these elections full of fraud and deceit, and the results were not announced till the end of the month. According to some political analysts, the results are intentionally delayed so that the masses could be kept calm and peaceful as the elections were a complete failure and deceit.

This is not the first time, as in the previous elections wide-range fraud and deception were reported which were not acceptable even for the major contesting candidates. Eventually with the intervention of the then American state secretary John Kerry, a heterogeneous admin was setup in Kabul. If repeated this time, it is said that the consequences will be disastrous.

Mujahidin of the Islamic Emirate, escalated their attacks on the elections day by carrying out nearly 314 major and minor assaults against the enemy, in which several of their forces were killed and wounded. At the end, the Islamic Emirate thanked and applauded the stance of the pious masses of our country for their rejection of elections and turning it into a complete failure!!!
