The delegation of Islamic Emirate led by the Political Deputy and Chief of Political Office of the Islamic Emirate, the respected Mullah Baradar Akhund, on their visit to China met with senior Chinese officials inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
Both sides exchanged views about the latest political developments.
During the meeting, Chinese officials said that they view their contacts with the Islamic Emirate with respect and give great importance to resolution of the Afghan issue and security therein.
In response, the Political Deputy of Islamic Emirate Mullah Baradar Akhund clarified the policy of Islamic Emirate vis-à-vis the negotiation process, adding that our policy has not altered and the Islamic Emirate still believes in solving issues through talks.
The respected Mullah Baradar Akhund further said that if the agreement were signed, intra-Afghan negotiations were slated to be held on the 23rd of September. But since the negotiations process was suspended by Trump and pathway for intra-Afghan negotiations blocked therefore the invaders and war-mongering parties shall bear full responsibility for all future incidents.
