It is with great sadness to have learnt that in the continuation of crimes against humanity by the Kabul administration and in retaliation for sustaining heavy losses in Badakhshan, they have imposed a blockade on the people of Khostak valley in Jurm district by closing roads, stopping food delivery, banning movement of people and prohibiting medicine, fuel and other daily necessities from entering.
The Islamic Emirate condemns this cowardly act in the strongest terms and considers it evidence of enemy failure and disappointment.
The enemy should not be avenging their losses on the battlefields by targeting ordinary civilians.
The Islamic Emirate calls on all humanitarian organizations and media outlets to pay serious attention to the plight of the locals, raise their voices and prevent a humanitarian catastrophe from unfolding.
If the Kabul administration fails to lift the ban of food, medicine and other daily necessities imposed on the people of Khostak valley, the Mujahideen of Islamic Emirate will be forced to take similar measures and its responsibility shall lie squarely on the shoulders of this cowardly enemy and their foreign backers.
