KUNDUZ, Sep. 9 – The Islamic Emirate’s fighters have taken over the center of Dashti Archi district, its 23 checkpoints, a key base, intelligence agency and police headquarters amid an operation going on over the last 4 days in Dasht-e-Archi district of northern Kunduz province, killing as many as 75 enemy military personnel and leaving 32 more wounded.
Four military tanks have been shot and destroyed in the operation, while 1 vehicle, 4 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 RPG rocket, 1 M16 rifle, 1 pistol and a great deal of ammunition of several various kinds of heavy and small arms were captured from the enemy as spoils of war.
Two Mujahideen are said to have been martyred and 3 more wounded in Dasht-e-Archi operation.
Reports from Imam Sahib district of Kunduz say at least 11 puppets were killed and 5 more were wounded when Mujahideen seized 3 of the enemy posts in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province last night.
Mujahideen took from the enemy 6 Kalashnikov machine guns, 1 PK, a heavy antitank machine gun and a good deal of ammo, whereas many more enemy military personnel suffered casualties with a tank destroyed in Mujahideen attacks in the provincial capital of Kunduz province last night.
Similarly, Mujahideen pushed back the enemy advance in Chahar Darah district of Kunduz province last night. The enemy, however, raided a number of the houses, harassing and beating up the defenseless civilians.
In a report from neighboring Jowzjan province, 4 Arbakis were shot and killed by a Mujahideen infiltrator who was also martyred in the exchange of fire with the enemy in Aqcha district Jowzjan province yesterday.
