Islamic Emirate free 43 enemy personnel as goodwill gesture on occasion of Eid; 18 surrender to Mujahideen 

KUNDUZ, Aug. 15 –  On occasion of the Eid-ul-Adha, the Islamic Emirate released 43 prisoners in Imam Sahib and Chahar Darah districts of Kunduz province  in accordance with a decree of the Islamic Emirate’s leadership as a gesture of goodwill.

The prisoner released were presented clothes, cash and some gifts.

According to reports from northern Badakhshan province, 8 enemy military personnel surrendered themselves and their arms to Mujahideen in the provincial capital of northern Badakhshan province, while a further 10 enemy military personnel joined Mujahideen with 10 Kalashnikov machine guns, rocket and PK heavy machine guns.
