16 killed as enemy offensive pushed back

 NANGARHAR, Jan. 11 – Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate forced back the enemy offensive in Mohmand Darah district of eastern Nangarhar province on Friday, making the enemy retreat with heavy losses.

In another report from Nangarhar province, 13 enemy soldiers suffered casualties in a clash with Mujahideen in Shirzad district of Nangarhar province.

Later Friday, 2 puppets were killed in a bomb attack in Ghani Khel district of the province.

In a report from neighboring Laghman province, 1 Arbaki was killed when Mujahideen targeted a post of the local militia in Alishang district of Laghman province on Friday.
